Strawberries with Black Garlic & Balsamic Vinegar
Delicious served with a sweet sparkling wine
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
1 pint strawberries
1 clove black garlic, very finely chopped
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
Crème fraîche for garnish
Mint leaves for garnish
Directions:
1. Hull the strawberries and cut in half.
2. Finely chop the black garlic and mix together with the balsamic vinegar and the sugar. Taste and adjust sweetness accordingly.
3. Place the marinade and the strawberries in a non-metallic bowl and leave in the fridge for one hour.
4. Serve in small dishes with crème fraiche. Garnish with fresh mint.
