Online Farmers’ Markets:
The Covid-19 pandemic has not been easy for many, many businesses, including farms. We’ve seen multiple Farmers’ Markets close since the beginning of this crisis, and the ones that remain open often do not have the amount of shoppers they have seen in previous years. In some places, online farmers’ markets are popping up as an option for shoppers to place their orders from home via their app, tablet or desktop, and then have their goodies delivered to their door or packed for them to pickup at a nearby host location.
Online Farmer’s Markets are growing in popularity during the Coronavirus pandemic.
The Dane County Farmers’ Market in Madison, WI currently operates off of the What’s Good app, an online farmers’ market service that we have inquired with as an option for black garlic lovers.
