“How do I cook with Black Garlic?”
This is a question we hear a lot, and we understand! Though black garlic is popular outside of the USA, a lot of people in our home country are not familiar with the ingredient/snack/flavor-enhancer/sweet treat. This question sparked us to create our How to Cook with Black Garlic page years ago (a page of content that we recently found completely plagiarized on a competitor’s website - tsk tsk!) This question also directs us in determining the information we share on this blog, our social media accounts, and on our FAQ page (allow us to re-recommend Jacqueline Raposo’s article on Serious Eats: “Hey, Chef, What Can I Do with Black Garlic?”)
For some of us, though, one of the best ways to learn is to simply sit back and watch someone else! The popular YouTube platform has helped me change the oil in my car, adjust settings on an old film camera, and even assisted me in sketching portraits. In addition to YouTube, online learning platforms are growing exceedingly popular; you may have heard of Skill Share, Kahn Academy, Udacity and Coursera, to name a few. I personally have been using Coursera for over a year to develop my UI/UX skills and it is helpful to see how past students researched and developed their projects in their videos.
